Wisbech in the Second World War - Albany Road House Took a Direct Hit

Albany Road in Wisbech used to be very close to the Gas Works, which was a target for the German Luftwaffe during WW2. On November 11th 1940, in mid afternoon, up to 12 bombs landed in the area of the Gas Works, mainly landing in Albany Road.
